Associate Speech and Language Therapists Required!

Associate Speech, Language and Communication Therapists

 

Location: Schools and educational settings in the West Midlands
Hours: Term time, days and working patterns can be negotiated. 
Pay: Competitive rates available, working on a self-employed basis.

 

Due to increasing demand for our services Cadmus Inclusive are looking for qualified, experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic associate speech, language and communication therapist to work as part of our traded service.  

 

We are looking for someone that can provide an effective and efficient Speech, Language and Communication needs therapy service to schools and educational settings working collaboratively with school staff and multi-agency partners to support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. You will need to be a HCPC registered speech and language therapist with at least two years post-qualification experience.
You will be able to offer:

  • Assessment of need leading to diagnosis if appropriate. 
  • Clinical input to a defined caseload of children who present with speech, language and communication needs via the planning, implement and evaluation of treatment/ intervention programmes for children and young people according to professional standards whilst adhering to our federation policies and procedures. 
  • Support to develop our traded service provision for children with speech, language and communication needs.
  • Provision of therapy intervention plans for service users to implement with support and guidance to do so effectively.
  • Feedback, guidance, advice and training to school staff and the families of our service users.
  • Contribution to CPD events as part of our traded speech, language and communication offer.
  • The keeping of accurate records and written reports.
  • Collaboration with our children, their families and school staff in goal setting and intervention planning. 
  • The ability to operate within the scope of Speech and Language Therapy practice as set out by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
